Launch
We kick off the Buddy-a-Thon with the students in a fun, paw-sitive, high-energy assembly where they meet the Buddies, learn about the fundraiser, and get excited about making a meaningful difference for their school.

Register
Parents or guardians register their student online in about 10 minutes or less. Students then share their personal link with family and friends through text, email, or social media, inviting them to support our school through online donations.

Fundraise
Over the next two weeks, family and friends can donate online from anywhere in the world. Our platform tracks all donations, sends helpful reminders, and lets families follow their student's progress as they earn exciting rewards.

Stuffing Party
When the fundraiser concludes, we return for our signature Stuffing Party! Qualifying students come to pick up their prizes, and participate in the unforgettable experience of wishing, stuffing, and bringing their very own Buddy to life.

What is the Buddy-a-Thon?
The Buddy-a-Thon is a fun, donation-based school fundraiser where students earn exciting rewards while raising money for their school. There are no products to sell and no door-to-door fundraising. Instead, students simply share their personal fundraising link with family and friends, anywhere in the world, inviting them to support their school through an online donation.
As students reach fundraising milestones, they earn exciting prizes along the way. After the fundraiser concludes, we return for our signature Stuffing Party, where qualifying students build, stuff, and personalize their very own Buddy.
How does the fundraiser work?
Students register online with the help of a parent or guardian and receive their own personal fundraising page. They simply share their fundraising link by text, email, or social media with family and friends who they think would like to support their school.
Every student who registers and shares their link with at least 10 people earns the Golden Ticket Prizes. As donations come in, students unlock additional prizes based on the fundraising milestones they achieve.
What makes this different from other fundraisers?
The Buddy-a-Thon focuses on experiences instead of selling products. Students do not need to collect money, deliver orders, or go door-to-door.
Our online fundraising platform allows friends and family from anywhere in the world to support the fundraiser in just a few clicks. The fundraiser concludes with an exciting Stuffing Party, giving students a memorable reward for helping their school.
How long does the fundraiser last?
Typically the Buddy-a-Thon will run for two weeks, with the option to extend into a third week if needed. This keeps excitement high while giving families plenty of time to participate.
What percentage of the money does the school keep?
Schools receive 50% of every dollar raised as a profit check, which is typically delivered within seven business days after the fundraiser ends. An additional 30% of the funds directly benefit students through prizes and incentives, including our eco-friendly plush Buddies, outfits, voice boxes, Golden Ticket prizes, teacher rewards, and the entire fundraising experience. In total, 80% of every dollar raised directly benefits the students and our schools.
Parent Questions
How do I register my student?
Registration is quick and easy and typically takes less than five minutes. Simply scan the QR code on your Parent Letter and click the registration link at the bottom of the page. From there, you'll create your student's profile, select their Buddy and outfit choices, and you'll be ready to share your personalized fundraising link with family and friends who would like to support your school.
What if my child doesn't want to participate?
Participation is completely optional. Donations can still be made to the school without it being linked to a student
How do I track my child's progress?
Parents can track donations through the online platform and the students link.
Can donations be split or shared between siblings at the school?
Absolutely! If a donor would like a single donation to count toward multiple students, we're happy to help. Simply include each student's name, grade, and teacher when making the donation, along with how you would like the donation divided. We'll make sure each student receives the appropriate credit toward their fundraising total and prizes.
